BECOME A MEMBER OF VAK!

Take an active role in shaping the industry and contribute your expertise to industry-relevant topics.

The VAK offers its members a platform for developing social and statutory frameworks. Cooperation between the VAK and other associations representing the industry and users as well as its active participation in specific technical and standards committees ensure that standards and regulations are defined to meet the industry’s present-day requirements.

In addition, the VAK is an endorsing sponsor of IFAT and offers its members the opportunity to present themselves at the joint stand of the association. At the Truck in Action Show of the VAK, its members can moreover present their vehicles and innovations effectively.

Who can become a member?

Manufacturers of vehicle bodies or trucks from the equipment and municipal vehicle industry can become ordinary members of the VAK. Manufacturers of accessories and suppliers of the industry as well as leasing companies for municipal vehicles can join the VAK as supporting members.

What events are there?

Every year at the beginning of the second quarter, all members of the VAK meet at our Annual General Meeting. In autumn, we meet again for the annual VAK Information Day. At these meetings, industry-relevant topics are discussed. Qualified speakers, exciting plant tours and casual social events make the meetings what they are. Our member companies have locations throughout Europe. Our events are therefore organised across the whole country. The working committees meet several times per year, at the invitation of the respective chairperson.
